A Second Contract

Malice was lost in a busy city on Earth. He was looking for someone who had called him for a job. Always desperate for money he went looking for him.

an entire section of the city was devoted to Chronos Inc. Chris' company, it was a gigantic block of multiple buildings, the view was amazing

Malice had to start somewhere. he entered the nearest building and started to ask for directions to his contractor.

she directed him to another building two over, once he was there the secretary assured him that Chris was busy and couldn't be gotten ahold of, luckily Chris himself came down the elevator at that moment and became curious about the scene "is there a problem?" he asked

"Yes I am looking for a..." He pulled out a card and read it out loud, "Christopher MiKennley. Saing somthing about having a job for me?"

"thatd be me, come this way" he led him to an office near the top floor, he went in and shut the door "so your the mercenary right?"

(Tecnically you have NO control over me but i will go with it)

"Yes, How may I help you?"

( well usually as long as your not affecting the persons character in any drastic way its forgivable )

"there's a rebel uprising on one of my mines in Pluto, i was hoping to enlist your services in eradicating the threat to my business" he smiled

"how bad is this 'Uprising'?"

"hmm, pretty bad" Chris chuckled

"It can't be as bad as surviving on mercury for 10 years withoutenviromental protection... I also need to know exactly what I am heading into so im not unprepared."

"hmm, it should be almost 100 rebellious miners armed with melee weapons such as pickaxes and the like, but also the most advance laser equipment money can buy, the thing is, i don't know if they are "rebelling" exactly, its just communications got cut off, im assuming they rebelled because thats usually the only time it happens, so i guess the terms are you investigate first, and if there is a rebellion, quell it" sighed Chris

Malice thought about it for a minuite. "Ok I can do that... How much does your contract allow for completion?"

"hmm, how much would you like?" asked Chris

"How about 7.5 million . That includes Nessacary expected supplies for completing this contract."

"make it it 10, get whatever you want and get there within a week, im losing valuable resources, thank you" Chris sat down at his desk and began rifling through papers

"Very well, I shall get started immedeatly. I will keep you posted on my progress."

Malice turned to leave to his Storage facility where Big Bertha was. He then took off towards Pluto. He opened a channel to Chris, "I am on my way now Chris."

"good" responded Chris "let me know when you get there, and set up a camera link when you do"

Malice was now in unrestricted open space. He opened his overdrive boosters to prepare for fast travel. "I can set up a camera link through my eyes if you want. This will take me 4 days to get there." He bragged.

"thats fine" Chris chuckled

The 4 days went uninterupted. He arrived to pluto's orbit he reopened his channel, "I have arrived requesting cordinates of said rebilling mine."

a gruesome site beheld him, a huge orbiting ship was hovering over the site, strange bio-robotic creatures were on the ground, capturing workers and transporting supplies of Magycite to their ship, aliens had never been seen before

"Sir, It appears to be an unknown force have enslaved the miners and is using them for their own benifet. I am sending analisis now. Your orders Sir?"

Chris took a few seconds to reply, when he finally did he was calm and collected "take your own analysis, do you think you can drive them off and rescue my men? if that's a yes, then go do it, and ill tack on another 5 million for doing so, ill also tack on another 5 if you bring back samples of their technology and another 10 if you can bring me a live specimen" he chuckled over the intercom

"I am not the best mecha pilot for nothing, Big Bertha Will waste these chumps." Malice said as he charged to the entrance of the mine. Running into on with a clean 17,500 tons of solid steel.
